This course will focus on a few fundamental skills used in jewelry/metalsmithing. Techniques covered will include, riveting, introduction to soldering, different ways to texture metal, piercing skills to cut desired shapes and simple metal forming. Each class will start with a demonstration. Metals used are Brass, Copper & Silver. Students are welcome to bring their own tools and current projects to class. Individual attention! Bring small bills to purchase silver.
